Job description
The opportunity:
This is a unique opportunity to join the expanding Energy and Sustainability Law practice at EY Law with a focus on the energy and climate law regulations.
Your key responsibilities:
· Support our clients in administrative proceedings before the President of the Energy Regulatory Office;
· Preparation of recommendations, legal opinions, articles and memoranda focused on energy sector regulations with a particular focus on big industrial consumers of electricity and gas;
· Participation in development of our sustainability regulatory services through thought leadership, go to market campaigns and client pursuits and engagements.
Skills and attributes:
· Demonstrable familiarity with the Polish Energy Law, Act on Energy Efficiency, Acts on RES and CHP and the European Green Deal regulations;
· Expertise in energy law and at least two of the following topics: climate law, environmental law, administrative law, commercial law, infrastructure projects, energy transactions and trading
· Experience in the proceedings before the President of Energy Regulatory Office;
· Perfect English language skills (other languages would be a plus);
· Feel comfortable with ambiguous and unstructured problems.
Your background:
· 2-5 years of professional experience.
