Machine Learning Engineer – IT Advisory 

The opportunity

EY is looking for an expert software developer with experience of architecting high performance software applications who is passionate about artificial intelligence and up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

Your key responsibilities

•    Understanding business objectives and developing application architecture to achieve service agreement such as:
o    Maximum response time
o    Availability
o    Quality/Confidence of prediction
o    Max re-train time, etc
•    Should be well aware and experienced in architecture of Machine Learning (ML) applications such as:
o    Recommendation system
o    NLP based application
o    Regression applications
•    Should have worked on building web/mobile/desktop applications
•    Managing available resources such as hardware, data, and personnel so that deadlines are met
•    Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability
•    Exploring and visualizing data to gain an understanding of it, then identifying differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world
•    Verifying data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning
•    Supervising the data acquisition process if more data is needed
•    Defining validation strategies
•    Defining the pre-processing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset
•    Defining data augmentation pipelines
•    Training models and tuning their hyper-parameters
•    Analysing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them
•    Training other team members

Skills and attributes for success

•    Proficiency with web-frameworks for deployment of ML solutions as On-demand web-service accessible via REST api. 
•    Proficiency with a deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or Keras
•    Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas
•    Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets
•    Proficiency with OpenCV
•    Ability to select hardware to run an ML model with the required latency
•    Understanding of complete application architecture
•    Experience of working with Relational and non-relational databases

To qualify for the role you must have

•    B.Tech. preferably in Computer Science 
•    5-10 years of overall work experience
•    2-5 years of relevant experience
•    Application architecture
•    Experience of building and deploying ML solutions
