Analyst – Tax

 

In Tax, we help our clients understand and manage their tax compliance and reporting 
obligations responsibly and proactively. We help them assess, improve and monitor their tax function’s processes, controls and risk management and maintain effective relationships with the tax authorities.  The global Compliance and reporting team works onCorporate and Income tax compliance, accounting compliance and reporting.

Your key responsibilities

 

Your main objective is to help the Tax team deliver quality products using general tax knowledge gained from training or education and assistance from more experienced tax professionals. Contribute to the profitable growth by ensuring client engagements are executed in an efficient manner. 

 

In Tax, we help our clients understand and manage their tax compliance and reporting obligations responsibly and proactively. We help them assess, improve and monitor their tax function’s processes, controls and risk management and maintain effective relationships with the tax authorities.

 

·  Accounting, Compliance & Reporting: -

 

·  Record to report
·  Recording/reviewing advances, borrowings, forex gain/loss, accrued expenses
·  Review of Open PO’s
·  Preparing accrued expense ageing
·  Group Company recos
·  CCPS accounting
·  Variation analysis
·  MIS support
·  Procure to pay
·  Payment to all vendors
·  Vendor reconciliations
·  Payroll compliance and accounting
·  Variation analysis
·  MIS support
·  FRC
·  FS preparation
·  Board pack assistance
·  Facilitating audits
·  TRAI submissions
·  Response to DOT pertaining to matters related to FS
·  Consolidation
·  Client reporting
·  Variation analysis
·  MIS support

 

Contribute to the overall success of the team by developing a thorough understanding of EY methodologies and tools to enhance service delivery; keeping team members informed of work status; actively seeking assignments when unassigned; proactively seeking opportunities to  provide tax services

To qualify for the role you must have

 

·  A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Management, Accounts, Finance or Economics and other graduate streams or a related discipline.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

·  Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills
·  Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative
·  Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
·  Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility
