As part of our Core Business Services (CBS) team, you will support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. Major teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge and Risk Management.
The Opportunity
You will provide comprehensive, quality administrative and support services for all of our EY member firms. Our ESS professionals span a wide range of vital roles, from administrative support to facilities management, creative design, tax return processing, file management and emergency preparedness.
Your key responsibilities
· Invoice creation and distribution (using gBiller)
· Credit note coordination and control
· Ebiller administration (including Gebiz invoice coordination)
· Processing invoices as requested by customer base
· Liaising with engagement managers or other relevant staff members to confirm requirements
· Drafting invoices in relevant systems, coordinating approvals, generation, distribution and filing as per service line work instructions and / or filing requirements
· Administering EY’s invoicing systems and tools; Compass and Ebiller systems
· Coordinating credit note creation and distribution
· Striving to be a subject matter specialist on EY’s Global Financial Information System (GFIS) engagement software, practices and policies
Skills and attributes for success
· Ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities
· Meticulous attention to detail as invoices and credit notes are sent to external clients and therefore close attention to detail and ensuring a highly professional product is essential
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Strong client service focus with good problem solving skills
· Committed team player
· Intermediate computer skills (MS office and EY tools)
· Maintaining good multiple, executive-level relationships
· Being an excellent team player by promoting and sharing leading practices within the Invoicing Services CoE
To qualify for the role you must have
· Minimum of GCE 'O' Level certification or above
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience with SAP and / or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
· Prior working experience in finance administrative
Ideally, you’ll also have
· Approximately 1-2 years of relevant experience or familiarity with a professional services firm environment
