About the opportunity
Financial Services Organization (FSO) in Asia Pacific was launched in 2011 and has over 7,900 professionals to-date. Our construct is differentiated within EY focusing on the needs of many of the largest, most well-respected FS clients in banking, capital markets, insurance, wealth and asset management. We operate across four markets: ASEAN, Greater China, Korea and Oceania
The Accounts and BD Operations Specialist plays a vital central point of contact within the Account to support key stakeholders including Client Service Partners (CSP), Business Development Executives (BDE) and the broader account team, to proactively develop, manage and track all activity on some of EY’s most important global Financial Services accounts, working with the broader Markets function (Operations, BMC, Talent and Knowledge) in facilitating communication and global coordination.
About you
In your role as an Accounts and BD Operations Specialist, you’ll focus on these key aspects
· Account management
· Facilitating account management meetings on a regular basis
· Be the knowledge steward of the account and disseminate client information to the Account teams regularly
· Manage the relationship map including working with account teams to identify the key players and develop touch point campaigns to build and strengthen these relationships
· Coordinate invitations for client relationship events and meetings
· Oversight and management of offshore resource dedicated to account
· Sales and Pipeline management
· Manage the CRM process which includes holding the team accountable to push opportunities through the sales cycle, incorporating EY’s global sales methodology on active opportunities and client meetings, and ensuring all key client relationships are properly managed
· Data extraction, interpretation and transformation with the goal of highlighting usefulinformation, deriving conclusions and supporting decision-making
· Support the pursuit process for the smaller to mid-range opportunities
· Manage and coordinate the Account revenue planning process
· Liaise with global Account Managers and teams on accounts in other locations
· Communication and administration
· Develop, manage and distribute communications (e.g. value scorecards, internal and external communications)
· Own reporting process for assigned accounts and tracking pipeline
· Revenue reporting
· Organize account team meetings
· Oversight and management of offshore resource dedicated to account
What we look for
· 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience in account management and/orthe sales process
· A Bachelor degree with relevant post graduate/professional qualification is desirable
· Professional and confident with first rate interpersonal skills
· Project management experience, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Fundamental literacy in financial management will be advantageous
· Confidence to propose new ideas and ability to influence at all levels
· Work on own initiative unsupervised and ability to juggle conflicting demands on time and prioritize effectively
· Excellent written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills
· Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
· English language skills are essential (written and spoken).
