Your role as a Manager will focus on the management and delivery of client engagements, often interacting at an executive level, as well as sales and practice development activities to Power & Utilities clients, resulting in increased value and efficiency You’ll help to mentor, coach and counsel their team members and help EY to build an inclusive culture and high performing teams.

Your key responsibilities

·  Own the design and delivery of the billing and rates functional solution  
·  Map stated client requirements to standard C2M business processes forming the basis of subsequent billing and rates process-based discussions. 
·  Conduct business process workshops to intimately understand existing client billing and rates processes, determine future state goals, and identify gaps. 
·  Provide solution options, knowledge- and experience-based recommendations and projected impacts to address billing and rates business process gaps. 
·  Document future-state business process definitions required configuration and functional designs for necessary extension development. 
·  Implement and unit and string test necessary configuration. 
·  Support functional and system and integration testing and training activities related to their respective functional area of expertise. 
·  Execute and enforce the project issue and risk identification, troubleshooting, decision-making, mitigation, and escalation processes to ensure quick and effective problem resolution. 
·  Execute and enforce environment management discipline ensuring efficient management of billing and rates configuration. 
·  Support go-live and deployment activities associated with billing and rates functionality and processes.

·  As an influential member of the team, you'll help to create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

 

To qualify for the role you must have 

·  3 + years overall relevant experience, including five years in consulting or services 
·  Utility industry experience 
·  Strong knowledge of Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) including: 
·  Functional Configuration, and workshop facilitation 
·  Expertise in one or more of the following areas: 
·  Credit Collections 
·  Finance 
·  Sales & marketing 
·  Billing, Payment, Rates 
·  In-depth knowledge of meter-to-cash flow and billing 
·  CC&B functional lead experience with at least two utilities implementations 
·  Successful full life-cycle implementation experience 
·  Strong knowledge of SQL 
·  A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a closely related technical field.
