This role is for an experienced Microsoft O365 Engineer, who will be part of a global Modern Meeting Scheduling Team. The engineer will participate in solution design and implementation for Microsoft Outlook Places the next generation reservation system. It is a senior Engineering role, requiring significant experience in large enterprise Messaging setups.

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

·  Become SME for legacy reservation system and Exchange Rooms/Resources mailboxes.
·  Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
·  Responsible for technical deliverables within assigned projects and areas of responsibility, including collaboration with solutions architects to deliver architecture diagrams.
·  Making recommendations around several options to address a business requirement and present pros and cons and cost versus benefit.

·  Proactively anticipates service issues before they occur and able to make recommendations around resolution.
·  Taking part in projects as a subject matter expert or as a representative of the service owner.
·  Sound analytical and problem-solving skills are required to manage multiple technical challenges from multiple services and projects simultaneously
·  Evaluate recommendations provided for service improvements, with the ability to identify any gaps or alternate solutions.
·  Proactively anticipate service issues before they occur and be able to drive suggested changes to execution.
·  Able to deliver engineering work independently or in (virtual) team globally.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Essential

·  Multiyear Engineering experience with Microsoft O365 for enterprise level customers
·  Strong experience with all aspects of Exchange, Free/Busy, Room/Resource mailbox management
·  Strong PowerShell development skills, including integration between multiple platforms
·  Strong Active Directory skills (Domain Services)
·  Identity and access management 
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills
·  Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
·  ADFS/SSO/Federation/Modern Authentication

Supervision Responsibilities:

·  No direct supervision responsibilities for this role, but ability to set up network of technical and non-technical contacts across teams to get solutions delivered.

Job Requirements:

Education:
