BMC is led globally by Karen Hopkins. The function is made up of around 2,000 professionals, working across the Executive and Regions in the following areas of specialism: Brand; Marketing; PR/Media Relations & External Communications; Internal Communications &Employee Engagement; Corporate communications.

BMC also includes a number of teams who are responsible for content development, editorial, webcasts, events-staging, strategy, planning and operations. Position Summary

 

The Communications and Engagement (CE) Supervising Associate, Global TAS will work closely with the CE Leader, Global TAS, and other team members to provide editorial, creative and operational support in developing and deploying engaging communications that enable EY’s senior leaders to connect with and engage the 15,000+ in our global TAS practice.

 

The role is responsible for designing, developing and deploying insightful and engaging material that supports our internal communications to the TAS practice. Channels include the EY Home Page Daily News Alert, Community HomeSpace (CHS) sites and other digital channels, email communications, video, and webcast and podcast communications. This role will also support the development of proactive, relevant and timely communications that can be cascaded and customized across geographies, Areas and Regions.

 

The Supervising Associate will work collaboratively within the team and across the CE pillar to support the development of relevant content and its deployment through our internal channels. The role will also team with stakeholders from around the world to provide communications solutions for our global program. The role will establish strong relationships and work extremely collaboratively across Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) and other EY functions (e.g., Knowledge, IT Services, Talent) as appropriate, helping to build and maintain the reputation of BMC across the business.

 

Success in this role will be measured by the accurate and timely delivery of relevant, engaging internal communications.

 

Essential Functions of the Job

·  Provide strong support to the CE leader and other team members
·  Work collaboratively across the team, proactively managing channels and deploying communications in an accurate and timely manner
·  Work with a range of stakeholders on key project issues, providing valuable insights and communications updates
·  Execute a comprehensive global communications plan
·  Manage relationships with key stakeholders and maintain good working relationships across BMC and other functions
·  Effectively manage multiple projects, balancing these with business-as-usual responsibilities
·  Explore the innovative use of technology to achieve communications goals
·  Maintain contact with global, Area and Regional communications teams and initiative teams
·  Monitor the effectiveness of communications activity and make changes as needed
·  Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge on brand, marketing and communications trends and challenges. 



Knowledge, Competency and Skill Requirements

·  Demonstrate strong video development skills, including script writing and storyboarding
·  Demonstrate knowledge of social media and experience using social media as part of the communications mix.

·  Global travel may be required pending business needs. 

Job Requirements:  

Education

·  Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent level of study or experience) required. 

Experience  

·  Brand, marketing and communications experience in a large organization
·  Experience writing and editing marketing or communications collateral, including material for videos, websites and intranet, magazines and newsletters
·  Experience using content management systems
·  Experience working with multiple stakeholders in multiple geographies
·  Experience in project management.
