Position Summary
PTD (Production Test Development) developer is to work in, and contribute to the PTD projects in the test technology department. This work must be performed in close cooperation with members of Ericsson PDU and NPI projects, as well as with members of Ericsson BNEP test development units that exist outside China; The developer is to research, specify, implement, verify and maintain cost efficient production test system by:
· Focusing on test SW development for Ericsson products produced in- and outside China;
· Committing project cost and time-plan targets, as well as test-coverage, test-yield and test-time targets, within the PTD projects
Main tasks:
· Support PTD project manager for project integration work, such as budgeting, planning, target setting, risk analysis, technical study, etc;
· Learn DUT knowledge in PTD project and feedback to DUT design for DfT issues, by focusing on DUT SW (type 2, type 3);
· Review test requirement (1524- ) and test specification (15241-) and other SW related documents in PDU and PTD.
· Ensure that standard details and platform software modules are used when advantages are obtained;
· Use standardized design strategy and contribute common test software solution to platform;
· Be responsible for test SW integration part in IP, DS and VS;
· Participate in Embeded Test SW command definition work;
· Be design responsible for test method, test plan and test criteria;
· Be responsible for test system release on LPA level and SW level, including documentation by following document plan;
· Specify, design and verify specific test related SW, such as troubleshooting Term SW, CE test execution, repair screening test, etc, and release with documentation when applicable or required in projects
· Support test HW system integration and verification;
· Support test verification engineer on auto verification SW development;
· Be responsible for prototype test in lab and production until pre-serial production, in cooperation with test HW design, test verification engineer and NPI test engineer;
· Actively contribute in test and DUT failure analysis in NPI project and solve test TR & CR according to CCB decision;
· Improve test system performance constantly from test SW view, by focusing on test yield, test time, stability and reliability;
Qualifications:
· Good knowledge and experience with C++ and C# programming languages
· Good knowledge of telecommunication and measurement instrumentation
· Good problem analysis and solving skills
· Proficient in English
