Purpose of Job Role
The purpose of the Operational Procurement Support is to provide standardized procurement support services through effective request management and administration using appropriate TOOLS and systems in accordance with Ericcson-approved way of working in processes
Main activities are:
· Interfaces with the Procurement Services internal requestors and stakeholders to clearly understand the procurement request and the business objectives
· deliverables, analysis and reports created or extracted from system and interpreted as per need
· Issue and manage Purchase Orders using Ericsson internal tools
· Validating the Purchase Orders compliance with different tools, processes and policies
· Monitor and supervise the overall process of issuing Purchase Orders using Ericsson internal tools
· Goods receipt processing using SAP systems
· Use internal request management tools
· Administration of a dedicated mailbox (e.g. register and monitor requests, dispatch request to another team/structure if needed, solve requests)
· Interact with the organization’s line management
· Organize, monitor and report status of the activity towards stakeholders and management
· Work with different process related tools: mailbox, request management tool, eProcurement tool (for Request for Quotation), SAP platforms
· Secures and stores event documentation and other information according to the process requirements
· Secures planning and execution of the related activities (plan, create, monitor and analyze)
· Supports internal stakeholders, end-to-end request management, provides final
· Identifies and communicates process improvement ideas within the Procurement Services department
· Share knowledge with peers and management
· Contributes to team growth and development and engages in cross-functional projects
The requirements for this role are:
· Soft skills: good communication, stakeholder management skills and problem-solving skills are essential
· Some work experience, preferably in a sourcing, procurement, administrative or other commercial role
· Good Excel and PowerPoint skills required
· Proficiency in the balance of MS Office applications (Word/ Access/Outlook)
· Some experience in working with different IT, Procurement and Purchasing tools and processes
· Some experience in working with different request management tools and processes
· Familiar with the process of issuing and managing Purchase Orders and able to issue and manage Purchase Orders
· Relevant experience in validating the Purchase Orders compliance with different tools, processes and policies
· Very organized and process oriented person
· Analytical skills and attention to details
· Good interpersonal skills, suitable for a multi-functional and international environment
· Flexible to change
· Eager to learn
· Fluency in written and spoken English required;
· High sense of focus and responsibility
· Ability to handle complex projects and environments
· Some understanding of value chain, technical requirements, cost drivers, contract terms and KPI's
