System Integration Engineer - OSS

Job: System Integration Engineer within our Delivery Team

Location: Ericsson, Yokohama Office

Number of openings: 3

Salary: 6.5M to 9M base (depending on experience, this range is flexible), plus incentive (performance bonus)

Conditions:

· Permanent employee

· Regular working schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm (1 hour lunch break) – overtime upon discretionary scheme

· Holidays: Saturday, Sunday and National Holidays

Job Summary

The Integration engineer can be expected to analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of a Node / network / system. Scope could include the scenarios of Introduction, upgrade expansion / functionality and capacity) this to form part of customer legacy.

Responsibilities & Tasks

· Support presales activities, including pre-studies
· Plan the implementation of the Product Configuration / Integration work
· Execute Product Configuration (O)
· Execute Integration work (O)
· Prepare acceptance test and handover to customer
· Identify and drive improvements
· Post Project activities perform

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

· Fluent Japanese Speeking
· English Writing/Speeking/Reading capability
· Unix (Solaris)/Linux (Suse, Redhat) knowledge
· RDBMS Experience (e.g. Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ, Oracle)
· Veritas Volume Manager experience
· Veritas Cluster Server experience
· TCP/IP knowledge
