Job Summary
The Integration engineer/application developer, will be responsible for leading the design, programming, testing and documentation of the application modules. These applications provide the business level features and functions in the Catalog and Order Handling. Engineer/Application Developer should be hands on, in both design and programming, with excellent development skills and good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and software testing.
Responsibilities & Tasks
· Performs business analysis to collect and document the requirements
· Works with the Team Leader, to define any core application changes required to support the templates
· Hands-on configuration of the Templates, as required
· Programs the accepted design.
· Defines and performs performance benchmarking
· Presents the existing and new functionality in internal (in the company) and external (for the customers) knowledge transfer sessions.
· Develops and documents test cases for execution and delivery to the testing department
· Creates input used in the preparation of end user documentation
· New Features Design
· Perform requirement analyses
· Create specifications
· Outline detailed architecture
· New Features Programming
· Perform programming
· Perform Unit test on all code
· Assist with test case development
· Code Maintenance
· Analyze internal and external bug reports
· Develop and unit test bug fixes
· Code Reviews and Coaching
· Lead code reviews for interface related changes
· Participate in code reviews for other sub systems.
· Coach junior members of the development team.
This position is comprised of the following split of activities:
· Maximum of 5% Java programming
· 25% Java scripting with Ericsson specific object model
· 70% non procedural application definition using Ericsson Metadata Designer Tool.

Minimum Technical Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
· Knowledgeable in the telecommunications and cable companies Operating Support Systems. Previous experience working within or for Telecommunications companies an asset.
· Knowledge of server-side JavaScript
· Knowledge of WSDL, XSD and XML
· Working knowledge of workflow concepts such as BPM, BPMN, BPML and BPEL.
· Working knowledge of HTML
· Working knowledge of integration technologies/frameworks including AXIS, SOAP, JMS, HTTP, Socket, FTP, SMTP/POP and integration platforms (EAI, ESB, BPI) such as JMS, MQ, WLI and Tibco
· Good design skills
Additional Requirements:
· University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) from technical university
· Fluency in written and spoken English
· Readiness to work abroad and travel frequently
· Requires well-developed communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with the product development team.
