Position Summary

We are now looking for a Network Engineer, using sound engineering principles and planning tools, this position supports Network Design and Optimization team with the New Site Planning, Coverage and Capacity analysis, Network study based on traffic projection, small cell design, support for project implementation, maintain the Network Database, end to end support on Asset Tool for all design activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

·  Understanding of Mobile communications technologies like GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G and Wi-Fi
·  Understanding of mobile communications principles such as modulation & coding, antennas & propagation, link budgets, etc.
·  Candidate should have excellent radio network planning experience and Hands on with ASSET planning and EDOS Planning tool.
·  Must have a clear understand of the overall planning processes
·  Install, configure and update ASSET configurations on customer site
·  Audit and tune ASSET Parameters maintain Network data
·  Collaborate with Design, implementation, Integration and Tuning teams based on project requirements
·  Site creations for nominal plan, Candidate creations and simulations for all technologies, Cell ID generation, BSC/RNC parenting for LLD and integration, OSS/RF parameter update on Asset for SSV approval
·  Experience and knowledge on 3D Ray tracing model will be an added advantage
·  Excellent presentation and communications skills, and a first experience with system and database administration.
·  Customer communication is essential and must have good communication skills -will have deep technical discussions with the client.
·  RFDS creation: Familiarity of antennas, RF wiring/plumbing diagrams, connectors, cables/jumpers, equipment, Build of Materials, ordering, etc.
·  Link Budget Planning & generating prediction plots based on tuned propagation model

Experience & Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Master’s degrees preferred
·  At least 8years working experience within mobile communication
·  Good Planning and Design knowledge in GERAN, UTRAN and LTE, MIMO, CA etc.
·  Good communication skills and a great team player
·  Strong interest in finding faults and to chase the solution for them
·  Good English verbal and writing skill is needed as we work in a Global organization
·  Flexible towards changes
