Job Summary:
This position is to drive Ericsson Networks business in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong as Network Evolution Specialist. The candidate will be responsible to drive & develop the customer specific network evolution plan that suits best interest of customer and Ericsson.
Location is in Tokyo .
Network evolution specialist is taking the high-level role in presales organization to drive 4G and 5G business growth in Ericsson organization, lobbying high level customer, collaborating with solution and portfolio management, sales, service, and Ericsson global counterpart. Both deep technical competence, competitor insight and business understanding are important for this role. The position also offers the unique opportunity to expand the competence area and strengthen the industry presence for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Responsible for developing a customer specific network evolution plan based on
1) detailed & deep technical knowledge in technologies and products
2) deep 4G/5G market insights that drives the customer's network migrations
3) excellent understanding of competition dynamics.
Responsible for co-driving with KAM and technical solution teams to achieve the business target of each KAM by engaging with high level customers encompassing technical, planning, marketing and financial functions. Expect up to 30% travel for customer meetings and workshops.
Qualification
10 years in mobile industry as pre/post-sales functions. 5 years in pre-sales function is a must.
10 years of deep 3G/LTE product and service experiences.
Preferably, 3 years C level customer engagement.
Preferably, 3 years of network performance analysis experiences.
Preferably, possession of wide market insight in global operators, competitor insight.
Key Qualifications
Education: Bachelor or above, preferably Ph.D. or MBA
Preferably 5 years work related English practice
Japanese, Korean and Mandarin is a strong plus
