Job Summary:
The 4G/5G Baseband software development team is looking for individuals passionate about software troubleshooting, debugging and quality. You will be part of the 4G/5G product development organization and will interface closely with customer support and internal verification teams to troubleshoot and address complex product faults. You will use your expertise in problem solving and your LTE technology knowledge to ensure that the Ericsson eNodeB and gNodeB products are always of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot both internal and customer issues
· Triage and prioritize trouble reports
· Drive and resolve issues
· Design, code and test solutions in a timely manner
· Perform continuous fault slip through analysis.
· Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
· Develop competence in technical domain
· Work with a trouble shooting team on issues investigation/resolution
Key Qualifications:
· Bachelors, or higher, in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
· 2 to 5 years of working experience as software designer
· LTE baseband processing knowledge, 3GPP specifications
· Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration Skills
· Development in a multi-core deployment
· Strong communication Skills
· C/C++ programming skills
· Strong debugging / analytical skills
· Real time embedded systems
· Wireless communication theory
· Experience developing for a major wireless standard is a plus (LTE, WCDMA, WiMAX, WLAN)
· Sub-system and nodal test plan and test case development
· Problem solving skills
· Experience of node level testing
· Experience working in an Agile team
· Delivering results and meeting Customer expectations
· Eligible for work in Canada
