Job Summary:
Seeking to hire a Sales and Customer Success Manager for Ericsson’s IoT Accelerator Platform with focus on the Indonesian Market. Ericsson IoT Accelerator helps CSPs in turning business concepts into realities. It’s a focused, easy-to-use solution providing global connectivity and device management. The platform helps the CSPs enterprise customers to build and scale their cellular IoT efforts faster – growing their business, the CSPs business and the IoT ecosystem at large. The main responsibility for the IoT Accelerator Sales & Customer Success Manager is to drive and facilitate the onboarding of new Enterprises so that the CSP can quickly monetize the IoT opportunities in the Indonesian market.
Reporting to the Head of IoT Platform Sales for Asia Pacific, the IoT Sales and Customer Success Manager is responsible, in collaboration with the Market Area and the Customer Unit, for driving new sales towards selected CSPs, enabling the CSPs to sell based on our IoT Accelerator platform and to growing the business by influencing enterprise engagements toward our platforms. Since the business of the enterprises is more and more global, supporting the cooperation among CSPs located in various Market Areas becomes crucial to capture the full business potential for the CSPs and Ericsson.
Ericsson’s strategic intent with the IoT business is to become a leader in IoT connectivity and platforms, and to secure new profitable growth for our CSP customers. IoT is also a key success factor for 5G. IoT Accelerator Operating unit within Business Area Technologies and New Businesses and serves as an incubation zone within which potentially disruptive technologies are developed with the ambition of becoming a transformative and profitable future business in Ericsson.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables :
· Business Development role where focus is to grow the enterprise (revenue) base with the existing CSPs. This includes educating our customers on our aaS platform, its benefits and unique selling points.
· Removing impediments and solving the CSPs key issues for onboarding on the IoT Accelerator Service. Offer advise and selling insights for the particular OEM or vertical
· Support Customer Units during sales process and provide secondary approval as delegate from BTEB
· Establish relation to key IoT stakeholders
· Prepare engagement plan, in agreement with the Customer Unit and manage engagement until finalized contract negotiation.
· Establish a true business partnership with CSP Enterprise departments and establish a win-win culture
· Own and drive the IoT Account Plan considering commercial, technical and operational needs of the CSP defining key engagement activities to remedy gaps and drive growth.
· Business planning & follow-up with stakeholders at CSP together with CUs
· Proactively identify and upsell additional services from the IoTA Platform, to further drive growth for the CSP and Ericsson
· Review operator sales pipeline and align timing of additional Ericsson services setups
· Introduction to other CSPs to facilitate the cooperation and creation of global enterprise offerings
Qualifications:
· Proven track record in relationship sales roles, Customer Success Management, Commercial management and Business Development at scale
· Proven skills in building and maintaining customer and partner relationship
· Proven experience in indirect sales methods and strategy.
· Solid understanding of critical industry pain points and key emerging technologies,
· Domain experience from IoT Platform business and operating model
· Understanding of Ericsson IoT portfolio, market positioning, and competitor profiles
· Outstanding teamwork, networking and collaboration skills
· Ideal candidate would be someone who is very well connected in Enterprise business in Indonesia
