Our Opportunity:
We are looking for a full-stack developer for the Ericsson’s IoT Studio. The IoT Studio is a new organization within Ericsson designed to bring a co-creation and rapid innovation approach to develop minimum viable IoT products. You will get to leverage our market leadership in cellular IoT, 5G and connectivity management coupled with our aaS IoT platform (IoT Accelerator) to unleash the IoT business potential for leading companies within North America.
You will:
· Develop IoT minim viable products across various industry verticals.
· Work with Product Managers to refine the MVPs to ensure they meet the customer needs.
· Define IoT system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes.
You have:
· Deep experience with the design, patterns, implementation and operation of a full-scale IoT architecture from asset connectivity, to data aggregation and normalization, to integration to other enterprise technology systems such as the ERP system
· Familiarity with the workings and capabilities of one or more of the following programming languages: Go, C++, Python, JavaScript, Node.JS, Node-Red, Java, C#.
· Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows operating systems
· Knowledge of software engineering best practices, dev ops for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
· Ability to design global-scale system architectures on public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP) and across private/hybrid infrastructures via bare metal, virtualized and container-based deployments.
· Familiarity with message buses, queues, load-balancers and clustering technologies.
· Experience familiarity with backend and API development.
· Experience with data modeling and building applications that leverage structured and unstructured databases
· Knowledge of various deployment techniques, including bare metal, virtual machines and containers.
· Distributed software development and cloud application environments
· Basic to intermediate IP and networking protocol knowledge
· Front-end development experience a plus
