Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Consultant, who will drive and/or participate in customer engagements from lead generation to contract fulfilment in agreement with the Key Account Manager. In this role, you will ensure that consulting projects are fulfilled and delivered in time, at a high quality and within budget.

You will bring value to the customer by analyzing and proposing improvements on customers' processes, operations, organization, IT or network. Consultants support short and long-term profitable business by interacting closely with our customer teams to identify new business opportunities that benefit both our customers and Ericsson.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As service Engineer, you will design, develop, support and troubleshoot a wide range of technical solutions focusing on the Comptel Instalink.

The candidate we seek should be highly motivated with a passion for learning new technologies. She/he thinks out-of-the-box and can identify issues and creative solutions, regardless of the tools and technology involved.

This person must be strong technically but understand business and operational processes to ensure the solution closely matches the needs of the corporation.

This position requires frequent contact with teammates to assess, recommend, and develop technical solutions to automate, integrate and enhance operational systems and processes.

This person must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrate an advanced understanding of Comptel Instalink

Design, develop, implement and support large-scale solutions in Comptel Instalink

Provide best practices around application design, scalability and performance.

Facilitate knowledge transfer and lead the design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise class solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or equivalent qualification

3+ years(SI), 5+ years(SSI) and 8+ years(SA) of comprehensive experience of working with Comptel IL

Develop and maintain Provisioning Streams using IL

Development of business logic using BST and NEI in Comptel IL

Define Mediation/Provisioning requirements and visualize business user's requirement

Develop and maintain the P&A, Catalog, SRI and OM

Hands on experience in development and implementation of Comptel Fulfillment suite.

Develop and maintain applications using different technologies such as Java/Perl/C

Develop and maintain shell scripts

Develop and maintain Oracle DB procedures using SQL/PLSQL

Non-Technical SKILLS

Good command over written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal and positive attitude

Good knowledge of Software methodologies and practices

Basic understanding of telecom and networking technologies

TECHNOLOGIES / TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Java, SOAP | Rest web services, Unix/Linux, SQL, Aerospike
