Ericsson Expert Analytics is a powerful new tool offered to telecom operators producing immediately actionable customer insights in real time. Backed by specialized metrics for predicting customer satisfaction, Ericsson Expert Analytics provides the kind of deep understanding of customer behavior that allows service providers to proactively improve experience, satisfaction, average revenue per user and Net Promoter Score.
We are expanding our Expert Analytics development and support organization with a development team in Seattle/Bellevue, Washington state USA. We work in small teams that use Agile methodology to keep up in a fast paced business environment, we closely cooperate with Ericsson Research, customer units and service delivery organization. Our product platform combines Big Data methodologies and solutions with our unique complex event processing to create a state of the art analytics and decision management system.
Job Summary
As a Developer of Platform and Application you will develop & maintain main EEA components (adapters, correlator and ARK applications), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, PLM support, product documentation. The main responsibility will be to develop new end to end functionality that will provide new business value for customers. The job will require work either as a Data Scientist to help develop ARK applications, Tableau developer to help with new use cases, and/or EEA ARK platform developer to support new use cases for key customer.
Responsibilities:
· Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support
· Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes
· Design and drive the implementation of data platform functional and non-functional requirements, and MapR, HDFS/HBase applications working closely with system engineer
· Be an owner of the implemented functionality: from design and implementation to production troubleshooting
· Work closely together with the design team members and other teams in the organization (integration and verification team, product documentation)
· Be responsible for the quality of the technical solution
· Drive innovation by coming up with new ideas related to our product/our processes
Key Qualifications:
· Master/BSc level in a technical discipline
· Solid experience with Big Data Technologies and related languages: Spark, Scala, Python
· Tableau expertise to help create new use cases
· Solid experience with Java, JEE, database technologies, web technologies
· Solid JBOSS expertise
· Solid C, C++ expertise
· Solid experience with access to databases (Greenplum) and MapR (HBase)
· Experience in designing and developing probes, protocol parsers is an advantage
· Experience working in a collaborative environment using agile methodology is desirable
· Telecommunication domain knowledge is a strong advantage
