Job Title: Component Engineer- Thermal & Shielding
Job Summary:
We are now looking for a Component Engineer. In this role, you will introduce and maintain component portfolio of Thermal interface material and Shielding material that is optimal for Ericsson products from technology, supply- ability and a total life cycle cost perspective.
Responsibilities:
· You will perform component engineering by working with mechanical design and PCB design on thermal & shielding component selection, introduction and release for different project.
· You will be responsible for thermal and shielding component functional specification, reliability and failure analysis
· You will be responsible for market scouting of new technology in thermal and shielding area and be proficient with the component portfolio of thermal interface material (thermal pad, thermal putty, thermal grease, etc.) and shielding material (FIP, FOF, electric rubber).
· You will work with strategic sourcing manager on sorting out technical specification for RFI and RFQ.
· You will be responsible to update component roadmap yearly and contribute in cost down activity.
Key Qualifications:
· Master’s degree or above in thermal engineering or mechanical area.
· Excellent knowledge of thermal theory & engineering, including calculation & simulation.
· Good skill of CAD tools and PLM system.
· Be proactive & accountable, result-oriented.
· Has curious & logic mind, good at analysis.
· Good communication and influential skills.
· Fluent oral & written English.
· Six-Sigma knowledge is preferred.
· Sourcing relative working experience is preferred.
