Job Purpose
The person in this role will be responsible for entering programme schedules and rich metadata on to a database of schedules and programmes which serves electronic media, websites, and the press, for both TV and radio. Maintaining accurate channel schedules and handling late changes quickly and accurately. Handling other data entry tasks as required, such as VoD-indicators, rights management, audio-video information, adding linear links and rich metadata.
Reporting Lines and Key Relationships
Reports to the Production Manager. Liaisons with stakeholders, broadcasters, third party suppliers and other departments within Ericsson
Key Accountabilities
· Sourcing channel information from broadcasters, agencies, or websites for use on digital platforms, Electronic Programme Guides, etc.
· Build rich metadata for programmes and assets, including, but not limited to, extended credits, awards, programme ratings, audio-video, URL-links, and access information.
· Evaluating channel and programme information and checking relevant details with the supplier or authoritative alternative sources.
· Entering channel schedules on to a database in accordance with client-specific requirements within the required deadlines.
· Ensuring that all changes are promptly reflected in schedules and the database.
· Assuming responsibility for tasks during the absence of colleagues.
· Liaising effectively with broadcasters and handling client enquiries politely and efficiently.
· Weekend and out-of-hours work may be required to meet deadlines, especially during the two months prior to Christmas.
· Planning workloads to accommodate (one's own) multiple rolling deadlines and workflows.
· Paying due attention to detail and accuracy, for example in validating.
· Liaising regularly with other team members to ensure all work is covered.
· Working effectively in a team.

Desirable Skills
· A typing speed of 35-40 wpm
· Must have knowledge and experience of using on-demand services
· Good knowledge of TV and radio/media industry is desirable
· Basic/Good knowledge of any of the below EUROPEAN languages desirable, e.g.:
· German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish
· Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Dutch, Russian
· Polish, Czech, Serbian/Croatian, Hungarian, Arabic
· Any special knowledge, for instance sports and cinema is desirable
