Position Summary

As a Developer you will develop and maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities such requirement analysis, systemization, design, integration, verification, product documentation.

In this position you will work in a team that has end-to-end responsibility. Your part will primarily be to do design, feature implementation and secure the functionality in an integrated system. The initial focus will be on layer 1 development but it is necessary to be flexible and thereby being able to handle the different types of work needed in order for the team to achieve its goal.

A successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player. You will be part of a dynamic team working on implementation of 5G baseband functionality or LTE features.

Responsibilities & Tasks

·  Design, code and test product featuresin an agile working environment
·  Troubleshoot both internal and customer issues
·  Develop test plans for sub-system and nodal-level testing.

Position Qualifications

Core Competences:

·  C/C++ programming skills
·  Real time embedded systems
·  Wireless communication theory (quadrature modulation, channel coding, OFDMA etc)
·  Experience developing uplink or downlink Layer 1 software for a major wireless standard (LTE, WCDMA, WiMAX, WLAN)
·  Digital Signal Processing programming (FFTs, filters, complex number arithmetic)
·  Sub-system and nodal test plan and test case development
·  Problem solving skills
·  Experience of node level testing
·  Experience working in an Agile team
·  Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
·  Strong English communication skills

Minimum Education Requirements:

·  BSc or MSc in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science

Qualifications & Experience Assets:

·  LTE baseband processing knowledge, 3GPP specifications
·  Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration Skills
·  Development in a multi-core deployment
·  Assembly programming
·  Strong communication Skills
