WebSphere Commerce Developer - Amsterdam - Long term project

Enterprise Partners is having a huge opportunity for a WebSphere Commerve Devekioer for a global and exciting well known company based in Amsterdam.

The company have selected IBM Websphere as their global platform of choice for their brands. The first brand built on this platform is completed and the re-platforming for another brand is currently in progress. To further this support the client is looking for a Websphere Commerce Development capabilities.

The WebSphere Commerce Developer should have experience implementing and configuring:

Key subsystems of WebSphere Commerce Enterprise for Business to Consumer (B2C) Ecommerce sites from requirements analysis through deployment

The Extended Sites model and the different store models within the framework

Component services model in WebSphere Commerce

Websphere Management Center

Skills in the following technologies are required for this role:

IBM WebSphere Commerce Development using the Rational Application Developer (RAD) toolset, preferably with WCS v7

HTML and JavaScript, Responsive design

DB2 v9.7

Web Services

SCM (e.g., GitHub, TFS)

Expertise in designing and building applications for performance, scalability and redundancy

Skills with the following technologies is not required, but preferred:

Integration experience to fulfillment vendors, payment processing, e-mail service providers, and other ecommerce integrations

Knowledge of WCS site administration including build and deployment and overall site architecture.

WebSphere Application Server administration (including IBM HTTP Server)
