Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for Workflow Assistants to be based in
Biffa HQ - Cressex Coronation Road, High Wycombe HP12 3TZ.

We have two permanent roles available:


·  Full time 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
·  Part time 20 hours per week mainly mornings 08:00 - 12:00 but flexibility required to cover holiday and any absence. The part time hours can also be flexible for the right candidate
On offer is a salary banding of £19,000 - £22,000 per annum (pro rata for part time), dependent upon skills and experience.


The Workflow Assistant is a diverse role. You will be asked to complete a range of general duties to include managing incoming/outgoing post, courier services, stock control to include reordering of consumable items, light kitchen duties and record keeping. In addition the role holder will support reception team members providing cover where necessary.The ideal candidate will have a 'can do' attitude with excellent communication skills, highly customer focussed and of smart appearance. You'll be a proactive person willing to work alone and within a team environment. You will be able to assist on site to cover leave/absences within the wider team and will have a willingness to attend any training course required to support the function of the role.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
·  Deal with any complaints immediately and report them to the Workflow manager
·  Report faulty or damaged equipment to the Workflow manager
·  Mail sorting, make ready for collection via transfer to pigeon holes, franking and outgoing post made available for collection by Royal Mail daily
·  Operate & supervise the use of all mail room equipment ensure sufficient funds are available on the franking machine
·  Management of couriers goods in/out
·  Porterage services (lift & shift) where practical (ensuring H&S requirements are met)
·  Archiving of site materials (to include collection and retrieval) in accordance to with process
·  Maintain sufficient stock levels of cleaning consumables, kitchen consumables and consumables required for post room equipment/parcels.
·  Daily completion of electronic records
·  Report any fabric/building faults identified whilst carrying out daily activities to the helpdesk
·  Escort subcontractors & Engie engineers attending site
·  Provide cover for receptionist as necessary
·  Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and to be presentably dressed at all times in the uniform (where provided)
·  Willingness to be trained for various duties
·  Establish excellent working relationships with client and customers
·  Provide support to contract based team

Qualifications or Required Experience:  

·  Experience in working in a busy office environment. Preferably with experience in post room services and reception support
·  Good literacy and numeracy. Computer skills including word/excel/e-mail
·  Possess a high degree of attention to detail
·  Awareness and willingness to work within and promote Health & Safety practices.
·  A willingness to adapt to change and support fellow FM team members.
·  Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work in a logical manner.
