Poste et missions:
CEEME, the Center of Expertise in Economic Modeling and Studies, located in Paris and Brussels, helps the Group’s functional and operational entities to better understand and manage their strategic or operational challenges related to economics in an increasingly complex and uncertain environment. CEEME is part of the Business Unit Tractebel where it belongs to the department Energy Transition. In the Team of New Businesses, the VIE Junior Analyst will work under the lead of a Chief Analyst or a Senior Analyst, where he/she will support market and economic analysis for New Business opportunities in the Energy Transition area.
Under the lead of a Chief Analyst, or a Project Manager, the Junior Analyst is instrumental in developing, organizing and delivering the agreed market and strategic analysis requested by the business entities. Together with the team, and in good intelligence with all the stakeholders, he/she shall:
- Develop an understanding of the market potential for New Businesses in the energy transition domain (Green Mobility, Decentralised Generation, Storage, etc). He/She is able to collect all relevant data: technology characteristics, cost benchmarks, overview of market actors, market context, competition, etc in order to consolidate and advise diverse entities on the future potential on these New Businesses
- Contribute to the development of economic analysis for “Prosumer” cases, and maintain the documentation (database, sources) of the assumptions thereof up to date
- Build expertise in various new technologies (Electric Vehicles, Storage, Digital technologies, …) and the market potential of these
- Contribute to reflections around new and innovative business models to commercialize new Products and Services.
- Contribute to the development – from scratch
- of a business plan of new products and services
- Actively cross-breed with his/her peers across the company on all the aforementioned topics.
Profil:
(Commercial) Engineering, Energy Economics, with strong interest in the energy transition.
Strong analytical skills & team player, able to synthesize various data into concepts and derive key conclusions which he/she can assertively present and defend.
