Data Analyst SAP HANA & PowerBI development

Job description

The Business Unit Marketing & Sales , located in Brussels , is looking for a (m/f): Data Analyst SAP HANA & PowerBI development.

Your mission

·  you keep existing applications in shape and assist business in application development according to the ‘Industry Best Practices'
·  you work together with the Software Architect(s) to keep the architecture of the various applications in good shape
·  you guarantee the integration of the various applications with the other components in our landscape
·  you guarantee the quality of the software that you and the other team members deliver
·  you are responsible for coordinating and helping building the various reporting applications
·  you are in contact with our infrastructure partners to ensure coordination of application development and automation in various domains (IAM, Automation, Backup,…)
·  you define with our infrastructure partners and architects a coherent and sustainable application lifecycle
·  you are able to understand and define the requirements to develop applications according to our standards/governance

Your profile

·  knowledge of Utilities domain is a plus. Business context: Within IS M&S we are following the DevOps and Agile principles
·  good technical and functional knowledge of the following technologies/concepts is a must:
·  Microsoft Power BI
·  SAP HANA
·  SQL Querying language
·  (concept) Data Lake
·  knowledge of or willingness to learn the following technologies is an asset:
·  SAP BW
·  SAP Business Object
·  SAS
·  Oracle databases
·  Linux and Windows Scripting
·  SAP Business Explorer Analyzer and query designer
·  experience with Software Development methodologies such as Agile and/or Waterfall is an advantage
·  you have a critical attitude, dare to question issues and take action
·  strong analytical and logical reasoning ability
·  excellent communication and presentation skills, you dare to go to your colleague to solve problems
·  being able to multi-task, prioritize and delegate, focused on problem solving
·  able to document in a human understandable language the requirements coming from business
·  fluent in French or Dutch with a good knowledge of English (multicultural organization)
