Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Site Engineer to be based in Leeds LS10 1BS. This is a permanent full time part time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of up to £30,000 per anuum, dependent upon skills and experience and benefits package.

We are looking for an experienced engineer to work Monday to Friday, 8.00am until 16:00pm with additional weekend overtime as and when required.

To assist the site in general maintenance ppm tasks, electrical breakdowns and new electrical installations works when required on site.

The site Engineer will report to the site responsible person every Monday to be allocated any ad hoc maintenance tasks that have arisen during the week. The site Engineer will carry out a general check of the building daily to ensure all lighting, general fabric and general plumbing needs of the building are in good order. Where defects occur, this will be noted in the defects log in the site folder and actioned accordingly

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Painting and fabric repairs
·  Assistance with planned maintenance tasks
·  Carry out electrical breakdown works on site when required. 
·  Carrying out new electrical installations when required.
·  Assembling, moving or repairing furniture. 
·  Putting up shelves, mirrors, pictures, curtain poles and blinds. 
·  Changing door locks and door furniture. 
·  Fitting security locks to windows and doors. 
·  Tiling floors and walls. 
·  Ensuring the sites compliance folders and maintenance schedules are kept up to date.
·  Replacing toilet seats
·  Attending to leaking or blocked toilets
·  Putting up new washroom dispensers
·  Changing lamps and light fittings. 
·  General external repairs / maintenance

Qualifications or Required Experience:

·  Previous experience as a site Engineer in an office and manufacturing/production environment
·  Qualified electrician
·  17th edition regulations 
·  7671 and testing to 2391 or a City and guilds 236 or equivalent
·  HVAC experience on AHU’S, Extraction fans and electrical heaters
