Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Site Cleaner to be based in Stafford ST15 0SS. This is a permanent part time role working 30 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £8,00 per hour, dependent upon skills and experience. 

The normal working hours will be Monday to Friday 6:00am until 12:00pm.(Although shift pattern can be amended to suit the right candidate)

Reporting in to the Site Cleaning Supervisor, you will be part of a team of 2 operatives at the Schneider Electric Stone Site to ensure that the contract deliverables are met, and to ensure that the “one team” ethos is promoted across the site.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  To work within the requirements of ENGIE Health & Safety policy; having specific regard to colour coding, COSHH, Risk Assessments and safe working practices. Ensure that all non-conformances and opportunities for improvement are brought to the attention of the Cleaning Supervisor
·  Empty and wash out waste bins in all rooms
·  Vacuum and dust meeting rooms, offices and communal areas
·  Cleaning of washrooms to ensure site hygiene standards are maintained
·  Undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time
·  To damp mop hard surface communal areas
·  Clean designated area to the required standard as outlined by the Cleaning Supervisor.  This will include male & female toilets and kitchenettes
·  Replenishment of kitchen & toilet consumables  
·  Wear and care for any uniform and PPE equipment provided 
·  Work with the team to ensure that all areas are cleaned during staff absences (sickness & holidays) 
·  Any other reasonable request made by the Cleaning Supervisor


Qualifications or Required Experience:

·  Ideally BICSc Trained
·  Previous cleaning experience in an office environment
