Job description

The Opportunity:

 

Newly created role to support our growth ambitions!  This is a 12 month opportunity.

 

The Senior People Acquisition Specialist will ensure the best candidates are attracted and selected in a fair, efficient and positive process through leading end-to-end best practice and understanding commercial needs and priorities to support workforce planning. 

 

The incumbent will work closely with the People Partnering team and Hiring Managers to proactively attract, engage and onboard the required talent based on the team and business needs.

 

This role will report to the Head of Culture & Capability and can be worked flexibly from the office and home – hybrid work model.

 

This is a full time role, however reasonable requests for part time work will be considered.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

·  Develop and implement ENGIE ANZ’s candidate attraction and sourcing strategies.
·  Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection services for ENGIE ANZ.
·  Develop and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through networking, referrals, research, targeted marketing and a variety of talent attraction and engagement methods, processes, and tools.
·  Analyse recruitment data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
·  Partner with ENGIE ANZ’s leaders to clarify future talent needs and proactively address talent gaps and develop strategies to create candidate talent pools and a strong talent pipeline that supports organisational workforce planning and ENGIE’s talent strategy.
·  Partner with the Corporate Affairs and Internal Communications team to develop ENGIE’s Brand and Employee Value Proposition and position ENGIE as an employer of choice

 

 

About You:

 

To be successful in this role, you will be a well-seasoned Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist with demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment and senior leader search, preferably gained from a changing environment and a large, complex matrix organisation.  You will have prior experience with developing and implementing proactive talent acquisition strategies and able to maintain in-depth knowledge of market trends and provide insights and recommendations to the People team/business.

 

You possess superior skills in attracting top talent and recognise the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organisation.  You have financial acumen and able to manage the recruitment budget and optimise resources.

 

Experience with using HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS) will be required. 

 

In-house recruitment experience within the energy, construction and mining industries will be well regarded.
