ENGIE are recruiting for a Security Officer to be based in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, E20 2ST.
This is a permanent full time role working 42 hours a week on a ‘4 on 4 off’ rota, alternating days and nights and on offer will be a salary of £24,024 per annum and will report into the Duty Security Manager.
This role is based outside at all times and is being advertised again, previous applicants need not apply.
The main duties and responsibilities are:
· Management of the security on the QEOP, event safety and ensuring the highest standard of customer service at all times.
· To provide clear communication and operational professionalism in the fields of incident management and response within large public areas.
· Provide timely and effective communication to the business on incidents that affect the running of the QEOP.
· Responsible for the essential functions of liaison and assistance to visitors to the QEOP, react to incidents and issues within the common domain areas of the QEOP,
· Responsible for health and safety and welfare of visitors and staff, to carry out patrol duties over wide areas.

Qualifications and experience required
· Must hold valid Door Supervisor SIA licence
· Complete knowledge of large public/open spaces and challenges they present
· A decisive and assertive decision maker who can interpret situations to proceed with a prioritised action plan that achieves the results required
· Has the ability to contribute toward a team’s operation or can work on his own initiative
· Excellent report-writing and analytical skills with attention to detail
· Able to communicate effectively and clearly at all levels within the organisation
· Able to adapt to an ever changing environment and be flexible with regards to job role
· A valid UK driving licence with maximum of 6 points is desirable but not essential
· BS7858 – be subject of thorough personal background checks which include financial checks
