Head of Back Office

Head of Back Office
Purpose of the Position:
As Head of Back Office at GEMS Mexico, you will be responsible for creating and running the back office for B2B Supply and Energy Management activities, allowing for secure, robust and efficient processes supporting strong development plan.
Responsabilities and Job Functions:
Create B2B supply and energy management back-office
· Define scope of activities
· Challenge existing processes and build transversal processes when relevant
· Define and implement appropriate set of tools
· Propose and implement new organization
· Ensure appropriate change management
Restructure billing operations, in line with GEMS’ standards and best practices (“Smart Billing Project”)
· Structure and implement processes, tools and organization
· Build relevant KPIs
· Ensure appropriate change management
Deliver high-quality back-office service to front-office teams
· Ensure efficient workflow from contract signature to billing and payment recognition
· Carry out daily market operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and country regulations
· Deliver relevant reports
Actively contribute to major projects of the organization to foster digitalization and continuous improvement
· ETRM implementation
· SAP upgrade
· Launch of new business segments
H&S
· Ensure strict compliance with HSSE Group guidelines to prioritize safety and sustainability.
· Promote a collaborative working environment
Ocupational Profile:
Required educational background: A pertinent university degree (an MBA is advantageous).
Technical skills:
· Excellent knowledge of Energy markets
· Excellent understanding of utility industry and energy procurement within client organizations.
· Proven experience in managing sales organizations, especially for complex products.
· People management skills to lead geographically diverse teams across various customer segments and products.
· Good knowledge of Entreprise system (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), ETRM environment, PowerBI
