We are looking for a Pre-Sales engineer for onsite solar PV business.
What You Can Expect
· Developing sourcing and cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials and equipment used in the solar PV business;
· Develop Pre-sales activities working closely with the Sales Department in order to implement the necessary purchasing measures to increase the results;
· Budgeting and developing solutions associated with the installation of decentralized solar systems;
· Own, manage, and execute all stages of RFQ activities including supplier identification & negotiation;
· Run tenders, evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factos;
· Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually looking for alternatives;
· Work with the Head of Procurement in order to develop the company terms and conditions for purchasing, and assist in the development of the procurement policies and procedures;
· Manage supplier identification and onboarding process including risk management, supplier setup, and contract management;
· Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities;
· Ensure compliance with delivery times and prices stipulated in the contractual phase;
· Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries;
· Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement.
Who We're Looking For
· Pre-sales experience in developing and budgeting technical solutions;
· Engineering license degree.
· Strong experience in procurement of small and large volumes;
· Commercial and financial awareness as managing budgets and keeping costs down is a key part of the role;
· Advanced knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
· English proficiency (other languages are a plus);
