Workplace Solutions are recruiting for a Plumber / Multi Skilled Operative to be based in Hinkley Point B Power Station, Nr Bridgwater, Somerset TA5 1UD. This is a permanent, full time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:15 - Friday 07:45 to 13:15. On offer is a competitive salary.

General Overview:

Hinkley Point B Power Station requires a Plumber / Multi Skilled Operative to carry out various duties as part of the Core civils team. To service water supply & drainage equipment as required, and to undertake planning and installation when required, of water and drainage equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

·  The role of a Multi Skilled Operative will cover a wide variety of jobs within our core civils team.
·  The main aspect is to deliver all aspects of plumbing & assist in the general buildings maintenance to achieve a safe operational site for the client,  
·  The successful candidate will be expected to deliver both re-active and planned preventive maintenance for the site needs.
·  Both general plumbing and occasional project type work will be part of the role profile.
·  As a multi skilled operative, you will be expected to diverse in other areas of the civils team to resource the needs of the business when needed.
·  You must be confident and experienced, and be prepared to work as part of a team, and work to your own initiative.

Must have achieved a registered apprentice or completed the equivalent method of training that covers the following:

·  Practical training in plumbing work
·  Time Served/ Apprentice - Minimum NVQ level 2 /3 in plumbing
·  Worked with Vented/Unvented systems
·  Water board approved
·  General building works - Must have building experience
·  Workplace Solutions/ EDF Site Training
