Workplace Solutions are recruiting for x2 Painters to be based in Hinkley Point B Power Station, Nr Bridgwater, Somserset. This is a permanent, full time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:15, Friday 07:45 to 13:15. On offer is a competitive salary,
General Overview:
Workplace Solutions (WPS) is the largest contract partner to EDF at Hinkley B Nuclear Power Station. We deliver a wide range of hard services such as electrical, minor civils, painting and corrosion protection and traditional facilities (soft services). In additional to routine planned work and preventative maintenance, WPS are regularly engaged to undertake additional helpdesk work and other variable and emergent work.
Key Responsibilities:
· Reporting to a BFM Team Leader, you will be instrumental in delivering, planned, helpdesk and other reactive work as well as potentially supporting the delivery of site excellence work.
· Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are handled accurately and on time therefore ensuring we deliver a high standard of work to the client
· Flexible approach to work and use of own initiative
· Be a team player with good communication skills
· Overcome challenging situations
· Responsible for delivery work packages as directed to safety and quality parameters stipulated.
· Support statutory planned outages and unplanned outages with paid overtime as required.
· Ensure that materials used and work performed is as per specifications.
· The successful candidate will be expected to deliver both re-active and planned preventive maintenance to meet site needs.
· You may be expected to diverse in other areas of the civils team to resource the needs of the business when needed.

· You will be suitably qualified and experienced in the following discipline: painting and Protective Coatings and be willing to support other building fabric maintenance work with suitable training and supervision.

· Used to working with an adhering to H&S, Environment and QA procedures
· Willingness to complete and maintain all site related training requirements Desirable
· ICATS qualifications or a willingness to train
