Engie are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Electrician to be based in Royal Blackburn Hospital BB2 3HH. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week (Standard hours 8AM till 4.30PM). On offer is a salary of£25,000-£27,600 (dependant on experience) plus call out per annum.  Essential Business Use Only company vehicle. The role holder will report to Technical Services Supervisor and will add expertise and dimension to the team at Royal Blackburn Hospital. The roles main duties include Electrical maintenance and testing, and basic joinery, plumbing, building services and assisting other members of the technical staff on site.
•Help ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations and helping us to achieve our H&S target.
•Assist in installing, commissioning and servicing plant, equipment and industrial furniture.
•Carry out and assist in planned/reactive maintenance to on site systems.
•Flexible working hours required which may include shifts and overtime working
•Administer and complete relevant paperwork.
•Fair, consistent and courteous attitude in all dealings at all levels.
•Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems and deal with them to their conclusion
•Ensure that all issues are reported to the appropriate Manager and assist with other duties as and when required.

•Experience in Facilities management and general electrical maintenance.
•Recognised Electrical apprenticeship and or qualifications
•Working with Lighting and Small Power
•Basic computer literate.
•Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
•Sound knowledge of Health & Safety
•Experience of working within a Healthcare environment preferred but not essential.
•Ability to follow instruction, work to plans (method statements), communicate, present and 
•report technical information as appropriate to trade/skill.
•City & Guilds 2391- 10 – Inspection & Testing or equivalent 
•City & Guilds 2382-10 – 17th Edition Wiring regulations

•Cautions, reprimands and warnings help on the police national computer for England and Wales,
•Relevant convictions in Scotland and Northern Ireland may be included,
