ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile Electrician to be based in Blackburn and covering the North West. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The normal working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8.00am until 4.30pm.
Working to high standard of Building Maintenance for various customers. We require a fully reliable electrical Engineer who can work on own initiative or within a team environment. Produce high quality reports of their findings along with estimates, for producing quotations. The role will involve being the face of ENGIE so smart appearance and the ability to discuss findings with others is required.
In the role of the Mobile Electrician, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, Reactive maintenance and small electrical installation works for various customers across the North West. PPM includes statutory compliance such as emergency lighting; fire alarm etc so must be able to maintain site documentation to the required standards including ability to complete minor works certificates etc.
The role also involves electrical fault finding and repairs to lighting, small power, motors, control panels, general building services etc. Must be able to carry out works to the highest standards and also be able to assist in providing quotations for repairs/small installation works.
Due to the nature of the job, the successful candidate would also be required to carry out other tasks as per customer demands such as handyman tasks etc so a flexible approach is needed.
The role also requires the successful candidate to be on an emergency call out rota (approximately 1 week per month). Candidates must also have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety and be able to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
A company van, PPE, Uniform and specialised tools will be provided.

Qualifications or Required Experience:
· A recognised electrical apprenticeship/qualifications
· Relevant industry experience
· Good knowledge of Health and Safety
· Full UK Driving licence
