Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Electrical Engineer to be based in Lakenheath IP27 9PP. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience and benefits package.

The normal working hours will be Monday to Friday from 8:00am until 5:00pm, you will also be part of the on call rota, Call out currently 1 week in 11.

Reprting in to the Service Manager, we are looking for an Electrical engineer to join our existing team on RAF Lakenheath. 
The Electricians primary role will be maintenance and reactive repairs on MFH buildings on RAF Mildenhall, Lakenheath and Feltwell. 

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Carry out PPM tasks and record and complete relative documents 
·  Carry out reactive callouts on critical systems in MFH
·  Complete compliance testing and minor works to JSP375 standard
·  Minor installation works and testing  
·  Use of pool vans 
·  Included in out of ours callout rota 
·  Clear communication of the company vision and objectives ensuring the implementation of new procedures
·  Promote and drive the company values
·  Keep up to date with industry developments, driving innovation and effective change

Qualifications or Required Experience:  

·  Previous experience in a relevant role
·  City and Guilds parts 1 & 2 Electrical Installation or equivalent (required to achieve JSP375 requirements)
·  Strong communication skills 
·  Good experience of electrical maintenance and repairs 
·  Full UK Driving Licence
·  Previous AP/AE experience and qualifications preferred but not essential 
·  City and Guilds 2391 testing or equivalent preferred but not essential For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package with this job role.
