ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Building Services Engineer to cover East / North of Scotland. This is a permanent full time role working 41.25 hours per week (shift pattern is 5 over 7). On offer is a salary banding of £28,000 - £32,000, dependent upon skills and experience.

General Overview:

The role of the Electrical Building Services Engineer is to undertake electrical, mechanical, fabric reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
To actively undertake general proactive maintenance work (reactive works not yet identified by a client) identified on site. To undertake new installations, major and minor repair works and attend to breakdowns when required.
All applicants must be able to be vetted before appointment. This is part of the recruitment process.

To be successful in this role you must provide the following:

·  Minimum of 3 year history of employment (including information which can be verified for any gaps)
·  If you do not have 3 years previous employment, a professional reference must be provided (obtained from a Medical Practitioner, Officer of the Armed Forces, Teacher, Lecturer, Lawyer, Bank Manager, Civil Servant etc)
·  Proof of identity & eligibility to work in the UK which must include Photographic I.D - Passport or Driving License.
 - Passport and all relevant work permits
 - NI Number information / proof and FULL Birth certificate (not the short version)

·  If no legal photographic documentation is owned then a passport photo which has been signed and verified by any of the above professionals will be required. This needs to show their title, signature and contact details.
·  3 proofs of address from within the last 3 months (i.e. Driving License, council tax bill, bank statement, utilities bills).
·  Any required qualifications or driving licence if required for the role.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  To complete repairs / breakdowns in plumbing, blocked toilets, minor leaks etc. joinery, door furniture and other works where required. 
·  To provide callout response for the clients as detailed on the callout rota.
·  To work an amount of overtime to complete chargeable out of hours PPM and reactive works.
·  To work as part of an engineering team.
·  To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
·  To take ownership and accountability for ensuring site log books and standards are kept to a high standard.
·  To ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards.
·  To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensure customer satisfaction.
·  To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times. 
·  To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
·  To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
·  To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately

Qualifications or Required Experience: 

·  To have served a recognised electrical apprenticeship and / or mechanical experience would be advantageous. 
·  Full Clean UK Driving Licence
·  Having qualifications in more than one field is desirable
