ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile Combustion Engineer to be based in Ipswich Office, Unit 19 Sterling Complex, Farthing Road, Ipswich Suffolk IP1 5AP.
This is a permanent full time role (working 40 hours per week, 8 am - 5 pm, Mon-Fri) and on offer will be a competitive salary and benefits package. This role will report into the Supervisor.
General Overview:
Mobile Combustion engineer for North west East Anglia contracts to complete Gas and Oil boiler maintenance and reactive repairs.General maintenance tasks including ventilations and water hygiene checks.
To be successful in this role you must provide the following:
· Minimum of 3 year history of employment (including information which can be verified for any gaps)
· If you do not have 3 years previous employment, a professional reference must be provided (obtained from a Medical Practitioner, Officer of the Armed Forces, Teacher, Lecturer, Lawyer, Bank Manager, Civil Servant etc)
· Proof of identity & eligibility to work in the UK which must include :
· Photographic I.D - Passport or Driving Licence.
· Passport and all relevant work permits
· or NI Number information / proof and full Birth certificate
· If no legal photographic documentation is owned then a passport photo which has been signed and verified by any of the above professionals will be required. This needs to show their title, signature and contact details.
· 2 proofs of address from within the last 3 months (i.e. council tax bill, bank statement, utilities bills).
· Any required qualifications or driving licence if required for the role.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
· Heating and ventilation maintenance and reactive response
· Minor works like pump changes and pipe alterations
· Assist static site maintenance engineers and cover
· Completion of log books, maintenance sheets and the use of PDA
· Callout cover for the region approx. 1 in 10 weeks including standby cover
· Customer forward thinking

· Capable of building strong working relationships with current and new customers.
· Capable of sound decision making whilst working under pressure

Qualifications & required experience:
· Commercial and domestic gas boiler qualifications
· Commercial oil qualifications or experience
· Experience in H&V systems preferred
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Ability to work on own initiative and with the minimum of supervision.
· Outgoing personality essential for dealing directly with Clients and customers design team.
· Good negotiator.
· Commercial awareness.
· Good communication skills.
· Well organised with a high attention to detail.
· Have the ability to meet tight deadlines and focus on priorities despite a very wide range of competing demands on time.
· Willing to learn and adapt to differing situations and requirements.
· Demonstrate customer focus.

· Clean Full UK Driving Licence
