Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to be based in Birmingham, B37 7YE. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
 
We are looking for a fully Qualified Air Conditioning Service Engineer with a strong attitude & willingness to join our an exciting industry.

The normal working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9:00am until 5:00pm, including be part of the on call Rota.  

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
·  To conform to ENGIE standards, rules and procedures.
·  To carry out scheduled maintenance tasks, repairs and operations of equipment and services in accordance with best practice.
·  To carry out reactive works associated with HVAC and other plant where appropriate to site
·  To be familiar with and understand their own role in the site contingency plans for dealing with emergency situations.
·  To ensure that the Contract Manager is kept informed of all aspects of safety performance, plant performance and customers circumstances that may impact upon the safe, efficient, reliable and cost-effective operation of the plant and smooth operation of the plant.
·  To become familiar with all Company and site procedures
·  Assist the Contract Manager in the completion of all relevant documentation associated to the works undertaken; including those identified by the ENGIE ICMS quality system or required by the Customer.
·  Identify where additional Method Statements and Risk Assessments are required

Qualifications or Required Experience:  

·  Full UK Driving Licence
·  Knowledge of HVAC maintenance techniques
·  Knowledge of HVAC systems and associated equipment where appropriate to site
·  Understanding of all relevant legislative and statutory requirements relating to the site
·  Control and implementation of Safe Systems of Work
·  Fully qualified (to current minimum legislative standards) HVAC engineer with appropriate background
·  Multi skilled and ability to undertake some electrical works (advantageous)
·  Basic level IT skills
