ENGIE are recruiting for a Materials Management Assistant to be based Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Charles Hastings Way, Worcester WR5 1DD. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of between £17,500-£18,000, depending on skills and experience. Hours of work are 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. This role will also involve covering Loading Bay duties as part of a rota. Openings hours of the Loading Bay are 07:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday. Overtime will be paid accordingly.
This role reports directly to the Materials Management Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities/Duties:
· Greet, assist and liaise with all delivery drivers, couriers etc
· Receive and record all identified goods into Loading Bay according to procedures
· To ensure all goods are stored safely and securely
· Determine destination of goods to be delivered
· To ensure onward distribution of goods is carried out according to agreed delivery procedures and timescales
· Liaise with all hospital personnel as appropriate, including wards, departments, suppliers, other Service Providers etc, withparticular reference to any delivery queries
· Carry out administrative procedures associated with the receipting, delivery, etc of goods, to ensure accurate records are kept for reporting purposes
· Collect and return goods for return according to procedures
· Provision of vacutainer and pathology consumables to surgeries, health centres, etc via the courier system, as well as the maintenance of agreed stock levels, stock rotation and completion of documentation etc associated with this service
· Identify any issues, such as the potential for goods to miss timescales, etc to the appropriate manager
· To assist stock control team when needed, and use of a PDA
· Putting away of stock on wards/departments
· To open and close the loading bay where appropriate
· Maintain a safe and tidy working area
· Carry out training courses as required by the Company
· Develop productive working relationships with colleagues, clients, visitors, etc
· Maintain a professional image at all times when representing ENGIE
· Keep all information confidential
· Other duties within the general scope of the post that are considered commensurate to this role.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience Required:
· Health & Safety knowledge
· Customer-focused
· Able to work as part of a team
· Numerate and literate with ability to write simple Reports
· Educated to GCSE standard, or equivalent
· IT/Computer literate
· Good interpersonal skills
· Experience in relevant stores/receipt and distribution environment
· Methodical working
· NHS/Hospital experience
· Relevant stock control/stores experience
· Able to undertake all manual handling requirements of the role
· Flexible approach to working hours and duties
· Full Driving Licence
