Engie are recruiting for a Joiner to be based in Pinderfields & Pontefract Hospital Aberford road, Wakefield, WF1 4DG. This is a permanent full time role working 42 hours per week (4 on 4 off day rota 8 week cycle, 12 hour days) (at £11.47 per hour). On offer is a salary of £25,050 plus £1,600 per annum.The role holder will report to Technical Co-ordination Manager and will execute workmanship to a high standard and ensure it is carried out in strict compliances with the Health and Safety at Work Act and any other relevant legislation covering safety in the workplace for self and others.
Carry out a range of joinery tasks including:
•Repair and fit timber and steel doors, repair metal windows, reglaze windows and doors as necessary, repair and fix fixed timber furniture.
•Carry our planned maintenance inspections of doors, windows and other monthly tasks as determined by the PPM schedule.
•Carry out all necessary administrative work associated with departmental management requirements such as using company documentation too accurately and timely record all processes from receiving jobs through to completion.
•Liaise and work with all other trades as required
•Provide supervision and guidance to trade apprentices as and when required.
•Carry out such duties as may be required within the general scope of the work.
•Advises management on updates, records and drawings.
•Provide feedback on Planned Maintenance tasks and returns the data for Maximo to be populated.
•Helps carry out estates surveys, safety and environmental risk assessments and prepare reports in accordance with legislation, company policies and procedures.
For all duties and responsibilities associated with this job description, ensure that activities proceed in safe, manner complaint with statutory regulation, CDM, good working practice etc. by compiling procedures, monitoring standards and maintaining records.
