Industrial Painter (12 month fixed term) – Torness Power Station

ENGIE are recruiting for an Industrial Painter to be based in Torness Power Station, Dunbar, East Lothian, EH42 1QS.

 

This is a fixed term (12 month) full time role (working 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08.30 - 16.30) and on offer will be a competitive salary package.  This role will report into the Painting Supervisor.

 

The main duties and responsibilities are:

·  Undertake painting duties, including applications of industrial coatings, use of power tools including track blasters ETC in accordance with Company standards
·  Carry out work safely and efficiently, as directed by Supervisor/Team leader
·  Ensure all equipment used is done so to company and/or manufacturers standards
·  Maintain and given documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards
·  Attend Toolbox talks and undertake duties in accordance with the information given
·  Ensure compliance with Company and client Health, Safety and Environmental rules
·  Report any accidents, near misses, health and safety or environmental issues to   Supervisor/Team leader immediately. For more information about ENGIE please visit:http://www.engie.com/en/candidates-area/

·  Experience in the Industrial Field Preferred
·  Driving Licence is desirable
·  An intermediate knowledge of health and safety requirements in a similar environment is essential, particularly in the use of hazardous substances and their controls For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
