Job purpose:
ENGIE is looking for an independent qualified Financial Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, managing records, and executing financial processes related to our sales agents and sales team managers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Management of Terms and Conditions: Ensure that sales agents and sales team managers are aware of and sign the terms and conditions governing their relationship with ENGIE, maintaining signed documents and an updated file.
· Tax Registration: Register the NUIT (Tax Identification Number) of all sales agents and sales team managers with the Mozambique Tax Authority.
· Registration of Agents and Managers: Ensure the registration of at least 700 active sales agents and 75 sales team managers with the Tax Authority, as well as updating these records when new agents are hired.
· Invoice Issuance: Issue a minimum of 775 invoices and a maximum of 1,000 invoices monthly, ensuring compliance and within established deadlines.
· File Management: Organize and manage invoice books and corresponding files accurately and efficiently.
· Tax Payments: Channel monthly income tax payments for sales agents and sales team managers to the Mozambique Tax Authority.
· Sending Proofs: Send invoices and proof of income tax payment to sales agents and sales team managers.
· Interaction with the Tax Authority: Serve as the point of contact between ENGIE and the Tax Authority for issues related to sales agents and sales team managers.
· Support in Audits and Inspections: Provide support during internal and external audits or inspections regarding tax and financial processes related to sales agents and sales team managers.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
· Proven experience in financial consulting or similar roles, preferably in tax and fiscal environments.
· Deep knowledge of tax regulations and processes in Mozambique.
· Ability to manage financial records and document filing.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel is a plus).
· Languages: Portuguese (fluent) and English (fluent)
