Our Industrial Projects Division, based in Grimbergen , is urgently looking for an:  Estimating Engineer Electrical and Instrumentation (m/f).

The Industrial Projects estimating team consists of six people, who are based at the Grimbergen site and develop tenders for our international customers in the industry. The projects have an average budget of between €10 and 80 million and are technical and multidisciplinary in nature (e.g. electricity, piping, machine installation, instrumentation). The estimating team plays a crucial role in the organisation and works closely with project management and sales managers.

As an Estimating Engineer, you will be part of the tender team and will help to handle tenders from start to finish. 

Your mission
·  the role mainly involves calculating the cost of Electrical and Instrumentation implementation works, and drawing up a schedule and action plan where necessary. You will calculate the number of hours required, indicate which materials are needed and how much they will cost, and help to decide on a suitable approach to implementation in accordance with the applicable standards and the customer's wishes. You will also try to include the technical and financial risks of projects in your cost calculations as much as possible
·  as an Estimating Engineer, you will be in contact internally with the Purchasing, Planning and Implementation Departments, while externally you will often be the point of contact for our subcontractors

·  professional Bachelor's or Master's degree in electricity or automation
·  good with figures
·  very good knowledge of Excel
·  good analytical skills
·  team spirit
·  initial work experience in estimating and/or projects is required
·  work is accurate and detailed
·  can work under pressure and meet deadlines
·  very good knowledge of (written and spoken) English
