Position Summary

This early-career to mid-level position within the Energy Rebate Management Service supports ENGIE Insight’s efforts to help clients improve the ROI of energy reducing projects by obtaining available rebate and incentive funds to help offset the initial investment costs. As an entry point to the E&S Program Management arm of ENGIE Insight’s energy advisory services, this position will utilize a basic understanding and application of analytical and interpretive skills that turn data into usable information.

 

Role Description

• Supports strategic engagements by pursuing utility rebates and incentives that help offset the capital costs associated with implementing energy efficiency projects through a prioritized work queue.
• Supports and drives overall rebate related efforts with for small to medium accounts by acting as client interface for receiving documentation and delivering program developed reporting templates.
• Works closely with account lead(s), client(s) & their vendor(s), and cross-functional service leads to qualify rebate opportunities and drive rebate application fulfillment for identified projects through tactical communication.
• Assists in identifying process improvements to enhance service delivery through execution of established job activities that drive client value.
• Additional duties may include contacting the utility, coordinating reviews or audits of a client’s location, gathering pertinent information regarding facility and/or equipment specifications, and calculating prescriptive or non-technical custom savings opportunities.
• Maintains accurate client project tracker(s) for energy-related capital expenditure projects at varying phases, pre and post application filings, utility requirement documentation, and associated savings calculations.
• Provides general support/assistance to the greater E&S Program Management organization.
• Apply broad knowledge of energy conservation measures and utility program implementation.

Role Competencies

• 4-year degree in business, engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
Basic understanding of electric, gas and water rates.
• 1+ year of direct experience in utilities, analysis or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Basic understanding of utility rebate and incentive program implementation.
• Comfortable in a fast paced/complex environment with the ability to juggle many responsibilities at the same time.Proficient working knowledge of MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets – specifically formulas and pivot tables.
• Solid analytical and data management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively through written and oral interchange.
