ENGIE are recruiting for an Electrician to be based in The Spirella Building, Bridge Road, Letchworth, SG6 4ET.

This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm, plus a call out rota and occasional overtime.  On offer will be a competitive salary and benefits package dependant on skills and experience.  This role will report into the Area Supervisor.

The main duties and responsibilities are:

·  Carry out maintenance, reactive and minor works on all electrical issues
·  Carry out Electrical Testing and Inspections
·  Carry out minor electrical installations for refurbishment and alterations 
·  Solar PV installations 
·  Carry out reactive/emergency initial response to any items as requested by the customer
·  Liaise with our office helpdesk for extra works costs and information and direct involvement with the customer to discuss job progress and status

Qualifications and experience required:

·  City and Guilds 236 (part 1 a2); 
·  City and Guilds 2382 (17th Edition); 
·  City and Guilds 2391 or 2392 inspection and testing.
·  Experience within a similar role/environment is essential
·  Good Knowledge of working as an electrical engineer
·  Full Clean Driving Licence
·  Computer literate with good skills in word, excel, email, internet etc
·  Able to work on own initiative
·  Good knowledge of SHEQ procedures, risk assessments, work permits etc
