Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Electrical Technician to be based in London SE1 7SR. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £28,000 - £32,000, dependent upon skills and experience. This role will report in to the Account Manager. 

The shift pattern will be 2 weeks of 07:00am until 16:00pm, then 2 weeks of 10:00am until 19:00pm. 

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  The contract provides mechanical and electrical PPM and reactive services to the International Maritime Organisation located on Albert Embankment, Lambeth. The role also involves various project works including electrical installations 
·  Quoted Works - Provide quotations to the customer for chargeable works
·  Statutory Compliance - ensure the site operations are fully compliant;ensure all Statutory PPMs are completed. Ensure log books are updated and completed as required
·  Ensure the customers CAFM systems are kept up to date
·  Assist the contract manager with monthly contract report and attend scheduled customer liaison meetings (weekly, monthly update meetings)
·  Ensure PPM’s and RM’s are 100% complete within SLA requirements
·  Provide technical support to the customer on all M&E aspects
·  Assist the contract manager with extra and small project works, ensuring to keep the customer informed of progress
·  Requirement to be on ‘out of hours’ callout roster (one in every four weeks)
·  Review RAMS and issue access permits  
·  Having a flexible attitude with a “can do” approach and who is prepared to work outside their skill base to provide a customer based service
·  Contract requires for a qualified electrical technician
·  Safe system and work control system closeout
·  Ability to stay calm during major incidents and, Ability to work under pressure and multi task
·  Ability to manage a mobile team effectively and report/update to the customer
·  The applicant should be presentable and have a good telephone manner as contact will not only be customer but public facing as well. React to breakdowns and changing priorities, have a can do attitude and flexible approach to work requests
·  The individual will also play a key role in ensuring that LV requirements of the site are being met and that all works are completed to a high standard

Qualifications or Required Experience: 

·  Time served buildings engineer with bias towards electrical
·  Team working experience. Must have the balanced ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances
·  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
·  Experience of using a CAFM system
·  City & Guilds BS 7671 or equivalent
