SCLE SFE recruits a Electrical Power System Engineer (M/W).

 

The Electrical Power System Engineer will be responsible for bringing a broad range of Electrical  system engineering skills and experience to a dynamic team environment of Project Managers, System Engineers, Energy Management Systems software developers, Automation Engineers, BESS and Microgrid experts as well as Business Developers to successfully size, design and commission Power Systems dedicated to Renewable Energy Integration and Smart Grids applications.
The successful candidate will have multiple missions:
·  General design and Sizing of Power Systems:
·  Understand customers needs and technical/financial requirements
·  Translate Customer technical specification into system functional requirements.
·  Write technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors, analyze their offers, and ensure the compliance of their supply or work with our technical specifications.
·  Define the best technical and economical optimized solution: type, quantity and required performance of system Equipment.
·  Compare and select the best technology for power conversion (AC/DC or DC/DC PCS) as well as storage if required (li-ion, lead acid or other type of batteries…).
·  Perform preliminary design of the solution.
·  Drive the detailed study team.
·  Write and perform Validation & Verification procédures.
·  Define and Conduct power tests in the power testing lab.
·  Take part to system commissioning.
·  During tendering phases, take part to the elaboration of the offer as well as actively participate to meetings with customers to help win the tender.
·  Throughout the years:
·  Capitalize best practices and return of experience on Electrical Power System Engineering.
·  Share such capitalization among the Power System Engineering Department.
·  Provide technical expertise and advice to improve the design and performance of power systems.
Those missions will mostly take place in SCLE SFE’s office with occasional travels and interventions on customer’s site, in France or abroad.

Education:Master Degree in Electrical Engineering  with Renewable Energy sector such as a major.
Computer and Automation skills (Algorithms definition, Simulations, basic knowledge of PLC programming

Experience:At least 3 years of experience in Renewable Energy sector such as Wind/Solar Energy, Storage or Electrical Vehicle industry.

 
Languages:
Fluent in French and professional English.
