Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Manager will define and execute Ecova’s digital advertising program and strategy. Lead Ecova’s webinar program. Project manage web development projects, and program website and interactive content.
Role Description
• Will define and execute Ecova’s digital advertising program and strategy. Lead, program and test paid digital marketing for social media, search engine and content syndication campaigns. This includes project managing the creation of compelling creative materials such as digital ads, video ads and animated gifs by working with designers and copywriters. Will manage digital advertising budget and collaborate with Program Managers to define priority campaigns and targeted audiences (titles, industries, etc.). Will track success, monitor and report key KPIs and redefine strategy based on results.
• Will oversee Ecova’s webinar program and strategy. Manage webinar budget and achievement of the webinar program’s core KPIs and best practices. This will include working with Marketing Program Managers to define the webinar events, promote the events, execute to best practices and meet defined goals.
• Lead and execute 1-2 web development projects per year – working with designers, copywriters and stakeholders and oversee development.
• Will manage all web advertisements on ecova.com and the Ecova Platform, ensuring they are up to date, current, and delivering on goals.
• Track, observe and study digital marketing best practices and trends and bring new innovative ideas to the team. Consult with all marketing stakeholders on these trends, best practices and innovative ideas to support improved digital results and achievement of KPIs. Ensure testing goals are defined and tracked against strategy to defend budget decisions.
• Support digital marketing initiatives such as content management, form creation, form response monitoring (back up), SEO, link quality checking and other special projects such as interactive content and microsites.
• Assist in the digital training of all new marketing hires who are given access to Ecova.com CMS and act as a support contact.
• Support programming external client messaging on the Ecova Platform as client impacting incidents occur.
• Act as back-up for social media (non-paid), press release and article programming.
• Will utilize Marketing Automation software and other digital resources to execute marketing program initiatives.
• Ability to execute multiple projects to timeline, collaborate with a variety of managers, communicate effectively, and work independently.
Role Competencies
• 4 Year Marketing related degree strongly preferred but not required.
• Experience creating search engine ad campaigns (Google, Bing or Yahoo) or social media ad campaigns and managing PPC or PPV budget required. Certification a plus.
• Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, is required. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign software is a plus.
• Experience with Marketing Automation, Webinar technology, and digital marketing preferred.
3+ years’ experience in supporting assorted related primary marketing functions and essential responsibilities.
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Required:
WordPress Content Management System Proficiency
Digital advertising experience.
Ability to learn and apply new technology with ease. This may likely include Adobe Creative Suite software, working with FTP sites, working with web marketing templates. Ability to learn and be coachable is required.
Ability to balance priorities and support strategic initiatives by collaborating with a variety of Ecova Program Managers.
Must be able to work independently and be a clear, proactive communicator.
